Cloudsmith’s Roadie Backstage plugin gets a refresh

In addition to Cloudsmith’s Roadie Backstage plugin now being an official Roadie plugin, we’ve added new functionality and given the components a fresher look.

Roadie is a SaaS application with a fully customizable internal developer portal built on Backstage. If your organization is not yet using an internal developer portal, we recommend exploring Backstage and Roadie to learn more about the benefits of a centralized software catalog (and how an IDP and standardized artifact management can help you scale autonomous development teams).

We’re excited that our plugin is now official, and we’re also pleased to let you know about a few recent improvements to the plugin:

📦 Package List Component

We've added a new Package List feature so you can easily view all the packages in your configured repo.

📜 Improved presentation of Audit Logs data

We’ve tweaked how we present information for Audit Logs, improving the data's readability for the user.

🔒 More data and actions available for the Security Scan component

We are surfacing more data about security scans, have improved how we present that data, and have added the ability to navigate from Roadie directly to the scanned package, letting you quickly learn more about the vulnerable package and potentially take action to quarantine it.

📊 Stats Component has more context

Previously, the Stats component only gave users the percentage of consumption for artifact data and package delivery. Now, the component's presentation provides more context, such as the organization's limits, how much data has been consumed in the current billing cycle, and what amount of on-demand usage is configured to be allowed.
