Good news! We’ve released three new repository webhooks and fixed our existing Package Deleted webhook. Now you can build workflows to react to critical package changes. If you're a true believer in the Tao of Cloudsmith, and want to Automate Everything, then webhooks are the perfect capability to do just that.
What's new:
- 🚫 New Webhook - Package Quarantined:
Get alerted immediately when a package is quarantined due to policy violations or manual action. For example, inform your teams of when an action is taken against a package due to a threat posed, such as if the package is quarantined due to a vulnerability and you want to review it.
- 🆓 New Webhook - Package Released (Unquarantined):
Receive notifications when a quarantined package is cleared, released from quarantine, and re-published for download. Whether the release action was manual or automated, this webhook will tell you which packages are now available again.
- 💾 New Webhook - Package Restored (Undeleted):
Know when a deleted package is restored to its previous state before deletion. A good example of where this is useful is when you're closely managing the usage metering for repositories or where you want to ensure that restorations are monitored.
- 🗑️ Updated Webhook - Package Deleted:
The existing Package Deleted webhook now correctly fires on soft deletion instead of waiting for full deletion. Like before, you can understand when packages have been deleted automatically, via retention or automation, or manually by team users.
